I was finishing up THE DEMONOLOGIST: THE EXTRAORDINARY CAREER OF ED AND LORRAINE WARREN by Gerald Daniel Brittle when Batman happened on page 216.
That page contained a partial transcript from a recording of demonologist Ed Warren having a conversation with voices allegedly belonging to multiple demons.
These demons were terrorizing a single mother and her children in a "government-supported council house in the north London suburb of Enfield" during the late '70s. And yes, Ed Warren tried throwing his fancy imported holy water (that was blessed by exorcist priests) at the problem.
Amazon has a copy of The Demonologist, which the majority of the first act of James Wan's THE CONJURING (2013) appeared to be based on.
