INCOMING TRANSMISSION: Ashley's Short Films

I don't actually know her nor have I met Ashley Cordelia, but being friends on Facebook is something, right? Here are the budding actress' two short films that recently popped up on the Internets.

I guess she actually does exist and isn't a catfish after all.


MY TWO CENTS (2013)

It's kind of like a prequel to Lost...sort of. To be honest, all I saw was cleavage and that dude's creepy eyebrows.

STAR TREK (1968) - "A PIECE OF THE ACTION"

A second season episode in which the Enterprise comes across a planet whose inhabitants model themselves after '20s gangsters.

Kirk and his bros are in a jam. So, he teaches their captors how to play "Fizbin" as a distraction.

INCOMING TRANSMISSION: Robot & Frank

ROBOT & FRANK (2012)

Intercepted transmissions from Jake Schreier's film starring Frank Langella.

It's a nice, understated film with a lot of good performances. And it's nice to see great actors getting good roles in their old age.

Intercepted transmissions from Sheree Folkson's romantic comedy starring the lovely Kelly Macdonald, David Tennant, and Alice Eve.

It's enjoyable enough, but the parts are better than the whole.

Phuc Finals: Blue Book Drawings

I wrote a final exam for the class and and referred to the class instructor as "Captain Perebinossoff" and myself as "Commander Ngo." I also noted in the directions, "Drawings are appreciated, but no credit will be given." Here are all of the drawings made in their exam blue books.

I drew the Pikachu while grading.

There was also this note left by one cadet.

I replied to Cadet Cleaver by E-mailing her this picture.

INCOMING TRANSMISSION: Graham Norton Star Trek special

THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW - 1305

Chris Pine, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Kim Cattrall, and Bonnie Tyler join Norton on the May 4th, 2013 episode.

Apparently, Pine fans are called "Pine Nuts" and Cumberbatch's fans are called "Cumberbitches." Both stars were present to promote STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS.

"He kissed one of my bitches!" the Sherlock star shouted as Pine swooped in on one of his fans. That must be why Cumberbatch is seeking revenge on Captain Kirk in the upcoming Star Trek sequel.
